Simon Brown

Simon is an experienced ​broadcast leader with over 25 years C-suite ​representation within the TV sector, heading up ​Strategy, Consumer Insights, ​Commercial and Data Science divisions.  ​

Most recently Simon held the post of Chief Strategy Officer for UKTV & BBC Studios where he played a pivotal role in steering the organisation to become the fastest growing commercial network in the UK. During his tenure, he led multiple business transformations as well as large-scale carriage and advertising negotiations. 

Previously, Simon led Research and Strategy functions for Viacom, Discovery Networks and ITV across both UK and EMEA.

Simon also holds deep audience measurement knowledge having been an active member of the BARB board where he helped shape the future of TV measurement in the UK.
