Ashley MacKenzie

Ashley began his career in advertising at Carat (UK) which he left to be a founding Director of Entertainment Marketing Ltd. In 1998, he joined an MBI team as Sales Controller for Talk Radio, renamed The Wireless Group Plc, and went on to be Group Managing Director (ILR) then handed commercial responsibility for the group as Managing Director of Impact, their national sales house.

In 2008, Ashley founded Base79, one of the leading MCN’s globally, where he was CEO. Base79’s technology and network created a generation of new, safe and powerful revenue opportunities for its content rights-holders and social influencers from YouTube, Facebook and social video platforms around the world. Ashley sold the business to Rightster Group Plc for $85 million in 2014 but returned to the business in 2015 as CEO of Brave Bison Group Plc (formerly Rightster) turning the company around from losses to profitability.

Ashley stepped down from Brave Bison to start Fenestra in 2018 where he currently serves as CEO. Fenestra delivers multinational advertisers an independent, customisable solution to increase ROAS in their programmatic advertising supply-chains through data transparency. The company is honoured to work for global advertisers, agencies and publishers to create more transparency and better business outcomes for all.
