The founder of the consultancy Hawkeye Digital, April is a seasoned business strategist and senior executive leader with over two decades of experience advising and deal-making for large global corporations and investors across the technology industry, ranging from digital media & entertainment to consumer commerce, fintech, healthcare and events.
She began her professional career in politics working in the U.S. House and Senate, later landing at Morgan Stanley, Index Ventures, News Corp, Yahoo, and NBCUniversal. A long-time high performing athlete and avid distance runner as well as co-founder of an early-stage digital wellness platform, Ms. Henry has a strong passion for intelligent consumer applications and personalization solutions, particularly with respect to optimizing online and offline physical and financial health and wellbeing.
Her firm is focused on driving revenue growth, core decision-making and business and human capital transformation for companies at critical points in their growth cycle. In this capacity she advises, consults and often holds non-executive and senior executive positions with a range of business types throughout the world, from early strategic business planning and equity fundraising stages to more developed businesses within incubators, investment funds, special purpose acquisition corporations, corporate digital studios and more.
April is currently on the board of Evalla Advisors, a special advisor to S4 Capital and EVP of Corporate Development for Science Inc. and the Science Strategic Acquisition Corp. She is also on the advisory boards of a number of businesses across consumer products and services.
April resides in LA with her family but also works extensively on both the East and West Coasts as well as spending considerable time in the United Kingdom. A long-time computer software fan, April Henry coded her first program at aged 9. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys supporting her alma mater and volunteering for organizations supporting those in need. She has a degree in Political Science from Columbia University.
